A New Microsoft Teams Update Will Make You Look Like a News Reader

Metaverse News

Have you ever wanted to be live on the air, giving the daily news? While it can be tough to become a news anchor, Microsoft Teams will receive an update soon that will let you break your own report.

Some Brand New Presenter Modes, Coming to Microsoft Teams

You can check out Microsoft’s plans for yourself on the 365 Roadmap. The Roadmap is a great way to see what the tech giant has planned for your favorite productivity suites.

Today, we’re taking a peek at Feature ID 83371, which recently landed on the Roadmap. It’s called “Microsoft Teams: Reporter and Side-by-Side Presenter Mode in desktop or window sharing” and is described like this:

Two new presenter modes are now coming available. Reporter places content as a visual aid above your shoulder like a news story. Side-by-side displays your video feed next to your content. You can now select a mode that fits your needs and promotes a more engaging presentation and consumption experience.

Unfortunately, while Microsoft states these features are “now coming available,” they still need a little time in the oven before they’re done. However, Microsoft believes it should be ready to go in July 2021, so it’s not that long of a wait.

New Ways to Present on Microsoft Teams

If you’ve always fancied yourself as a news anchor, be sure to keep an eye on Microsoft Teams. Soon you’ll be able to give presentations as if you’re live on the air.

Did you know that Microsoft Teams recently came out of being business-only? Now you can use it for personal use so you can catch up with friends and family around the world.
