Bandsintown Plus Is Bringing Live Music Gigs to Apple TV

Metaverse News

The Bandsintown Plus concert-streaming service is now available on the Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K, giving subscribers access to a number of exclusive shows via their device.

Exclusive Performances Not Found Elsewhere

With support for high-fidelity image and sound, the software gives Apple TV owners easy access to interactive events with artists along with new shows and series, which are added to the platform every week. You can also enjoy Q+As and live chats with fans with real-time reactions, as well as watch exclusive interviews on your big screen TV via the new Apple TV app, according to the official announcement.

Bandsintown shows are exclusive to the platform—you cannot watch these performances on YouTube, Twitch, Apple Music, or other platforms. In cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Nashville, Bandsintown provides select artists with studio access.

The official Bandsintown Plus app is now available in the App Store on the Apple TV. A separate iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch app, called Bandsintown Concert‪s‬, has been available on the App Store for some time now.

The Bandsintown Plus Subscription

Earlier in the year, the company launched its monthly subscription service, called Bandsintown Plus. With it, fans can enjoy unlimited access to 25 exclusive concerts each month in exchange for $ 10/month. Artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Tycho, Flying Lotus, Soccer Mommy, Chromeo, and Little Dragon, to name but a few, have all signed on to play shows.

Artists receive a flat fee for each performance on the platform, according to the company. The subscription includes other benefits, like intimate chats with artists.

Live performances won’t be coming back until this COVID pandemic is over but you can now at least watch these exclusive performances and related content on your Apple TV.
